State By State

Most of the country can play. A small group cannot. The operator terms are the version that counts.

Why there is no single answer

Availability comes from three things at once: state promotions law, state gambling law, and how much risk each operator is willing to carry. That last factor causes most of the confusion, because two operators reading the same statute can reach opposite conclusions, and one will accept players in a state while its competitor refuses. We therefore publish what each operator accepted during testing rather than a legal verdict of our own.

What eighteen accounts showed

  • Accepted almost everywhere. The large majority of states were open at every operator in the ledger, with a minimum age of eighteen or twenty-one depending on site and state.
  • Excluded by all. A small group was blocked across the board. Washington and Idaho were the most consistent, with Michigan and Nevada excluded by most.
  • Split. Several states were accepted by some operators and refused by others, which signals differing legal advice rather than a settled position. This group moves most often.
  • Changed mid-year. More than one operator withdrew from a state inside our testing window, so a site that accepted you last season may not now.

The two minute check

Open the operator terms and search for excluded, prohibited or ineligible. That list binds your account, not any summary elsewhere, including this page. Confirm the minimum age for your state. Then remember that eligibility follows where you physically are rather than where you live, so a trip across a state line can change your status.

We are not lawyers. Nothing here is legal advice. If it matters to you, read the operator terms and ask someone qualified where you live.

Verification and location checks

Every operator in the ledger verified identity before redemption and checked location at both signup and withdrawal. Masking your location breaches the terms at all eighteen and the normal outcome is a frozen balance, which is a poor trade on a free account.
